Once mortal coil is snuffed
Your hair will show, and continue to grow
Whether long or in little tufts
Does it miss you? Is it saddened?
That you left before it did?
Just as no parent should bury a child
No hair should be left on your lid
It would rather go bald before,
And leave you to mourn its leave
For it loves you, and you it
So please - don't let it grieve
