I am a scorpion, I am a blade
I am a shadow that lies in the shade
I am your killer and I am your dancer
I am your body and I am your cancer

I am the water you seek in the sand
The bottle you grip with your sunburnt red hand
I am the water that burns your neck dry
I am your life, and the reason you die

I am your needle, your smack and your spoon
I am the madness that hides in your moon
I calm you to let you sleep through the pain
Then tear up your dreams to wake you again.
