Favorite writer: Edgar Allan Poe

Reason: He was one of the most prolific poetry / short story writers to ever live.

Andrea Spalding.

Why?

Because I really loved her books, and sent her fan mail, and she responded quickly, kindly, and personally. She even sent me autographed bookmarks. Andrea Spalding has left a lasting impression on me. And she's Canadian.
