People like you better when you lie.
When you look accross the table
to the TV on the side
and you tell your poor old parents
that your mind is open wide
and you do not need to spend your days
miserable inside
and you want to go move on
through the world because you think someone
might possibly see themselves just
standing by your side
you'll see it as they shut you down
with paternalistic pride
that people like you better when you lie.
People like you better when you lie
it's always best that you profess
a love of the divine
a tollerence of being part
of Captalialism's beating heart
and a need to not need to start
just questioning the why
You'll see upon all the faces
of people passing by in places
with their shallow airs and graces
stinking to the sky
that if you should suggest to send
this fake culture down to it's end
then all will blind their eyes
and let your message fall and die
and it should come as no surprise
that truth is scheduled for demise
no matter how hard one tries
to set it free to fly
into the blue and white
of the barely perfect sky
the people simple do not care
and people do not try
and they simply like it better when you lie.

To be honest I saw it with piano. I have no musical tallent but I should get my girlfriend onto it.
