There’s only one risk about anything, and it’s getting caught. Not by just anyone. By people who do things. People who act on stimulus.
It’s January 12, 2003. Ripper Logs on to IRC.
I did an assignment once, based on some of Banksy’s ideas, and Christo’s work. I wrapped up a park bench. I had wondered what reactions I would get. The result was stunning; There was no reaction. Nothing happened. Nobody spoke to me. Sompe people looked twice. Then they walked off.
On the IRC, Ripper proceeds to use his webcam to show off his stash of drugs, mostly prescription. He has mushrooms, and pills and methadone. He begins to eat them.

Ron English is an artist who used to post up Billboards he made over the top of real Ads. He also used to slap up posters. He used to say the best time to go putting your stuff up is in the middle of the day. This way you wouldn’t be suspected of being a Criminal. At night, everyone’s a criminal. I also have a Banksy art book. He says the best way to avoid being caught is to don an orange vest in the daytime, and put a portable radio onto a crap FM Station. If anyone stops to question you, complain bout the hourly rate.

Grade eleven was so full of people gossiping that a friend and I conspired to, over three weeks, have a bust up over a ‘girlfriend’ (Tanya Streeton) whom it would turn out he had been seeing behind my back. We played it our for a while. In the end it came time to stage a confrontation. He hit me (not fake). We tussled. Everyone laughed and watched. Nobody stepped in. When we revealed the punch line, they clapped.
My friend later said that at least one teacher had seen what happened.

A 1968 study by John Darley and Bibb Latane saw persons placed in a room with an audio recording of a conversation, told that there were a number of other participants, and their microphone will be turned off until their turn to speak. A person would then while speaking, appear to have a seizure. The time a participant took to alert the organiser would vary, according to the number of participants they thought were participating. Sometimes they never told the organiser.
