August 1st 2008 11:21
I know why I write… but more on that later… what about YOU?

I write because it helps me make sense of my thoughts. And it's a peaceful thing to do.

2 main reason:

To practice writing. Like all things that require skill it also requires practice.

As kind of performance. Much of what I write is disposable thoughts that have not been through any editing process. Like a busker on the road if a few people enjoy that is enough.

Other than that there are a few people I enjoy reading and responses that have blown me away. It is sometimes very humbling to read some of the responses to something that I spent no more than a few minutes rattling off with thoughtless abandon.

Mainly because I like it. But I also get a kick out of someone else out there reading it

To "manipulate people and validate all their inner prejudices as being rational."

Just call me Dr Evil.

Or better yet, just be done with it and call me Hitler.

Bingo, the voice from out of the closet speaks; plaintively, pleading for mercy she won't dispense.

Well just bite me in the butt, ya took my line you inconsiderate whining Eva Braun look alike: I'm doing Dr. Evile today.

It's called sarcasm.

It's the lowest form of humour.

Or so I hear.

But it's usually the people who aren't any good at it that say that.

The sour grapes of wrath live on.

You have made wonderful whine from those sour grapes, but I suppose you know that already Ruby?

Haha. Look who's talking. Nary a day goes by that does not see yourself and that hero of his own making (yes he to whom you play second fiddle and sub-par sidekick), posting an article that either attacks me outright or cleverly (and I do use that term loosely), alludes to me.

Now you can say I am mistaken and egotistical and to that I shall reply, I'm so vain I probably think this post is about me...

But verily, I say unto you Raven, have you and the Great Pontificator really nothing more substantial to write about other than how much you dislike certain other bloggers (and for reasons that yet others cannot fathom)?

So, it's all about ewe? Your bleating is never ending.

BTW, you can take the snarcasm challenge with me on Sleezer's World, you're a snark maven of modest renown.

Why do I blog? Because I can. This isn't who I am, its just one of the things I do.

I write for money. If I didn't make $500-$700 each week, I would be utterly screwed as my lazy wife won't work. It also gives me plenty of time to play video games and play with the kids hehe.

I've tried to figure this out!

Really Long Link

In the year that I've been writing here, I have made a whopping $9.13. But -- and this is importasnt to me -- I've been having fun. I am aware that writing on political issues won't be that lucrative but I have met (not personally but throuigh posts and emai) some pretty nice folks and one who isn't so nice.l
